Author Biography

 
Mummy's Message was created by Anthony Michael Maggio, Ph.D.  An educator for over 36 years, Anthony has taught both middle level and high school social studies.  His credits also include School District Mentor/Trainer for the Madeline Hunter Mastery Teaching Model.  Prior to his retirement in 2004, Anthony was the Coordinator/Trainer of the national program known as Natural Helpers, its focus on "kids helping kids."  Along with that, Dr. Maggio authored the body of research titled Developing A Documentation Model For Staff Development Programs in Schools.

Anthony earned a Bachelor Degree and a Masters Degree, both in Education, from Duquesne University, located in Pittsburgh, PA.  He acquired a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Supervision from the University of Pittsburgh.  He continues to be involved in educational programs in the Upper St. Clair School District, Pittsburgh, PA.  He and his wife reside in Washington, PA, and his passion to engage students in learning is endless.
